The Boom Box Post crew returned to San Diego this year for Comic-Con 2017! We kicked off the Con on Friday morning with the excellent Cartoon Creatives: Woman Power in Animation panel, featuring Danger and Eggs creator and Puny Entertainment co-founder Shadi Petosky.
Next on the menu was the highly anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles panel. Executive Producer Ciro Nieli, TMNT creator Kevin Eastmen and Usagi Yojimbo author Stan Sakai got together with several members of the cast to talk about season 5 of the show: Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A crossover episode featuring the turtles alongside Usagi Miyamoto was showcased alongside another top-secret season 5 sneak peek!
Later that day we were excited to see Disney XD's fabulous Duck Tales panel, where the creators and cast discussed the inspiration behind the show, connecting to the comics and the original series and breathing life into the classic characters with terrific voice acting.
On Saturday, Boom Box Post hosted the 2nd Annual BBP Happy Hour. Thanks to all who came out to chat and enjoy craft brews with us!
